Connie Design Blackwork SAL - August 2018

I have worked quite a lot on this project and I am now completely up to date. I like a lot how the work looks like and how quick you can stitch each part. Last time I showed you my advance was in May, when I had only 5 parts finished. From then I finished parts 6 to 9.

Friday Frolics – Blackwork Tangram SAL Part 1

For few weeks I am going to join the Friday Frolics with a blackwork design SAL. It is a design from Peppermint Purple and it is organized free by Lakeside Needlecraft. The SAL is divided in 6 parts and each one is released on Friday. That is the reason why I decided to do Friday afternoon. It is quick to do and I prefer to stich it as soon as it is released.

For this project I chose a 14 count white Aida fabric. I am going to stitch the borders in black (2 strands, DMC 310) and the design of each part in a different colour, using only one strand.

I stitched the first part in Christmas red (DMC 666). I will be doing the border as the parts are coming.

Connie Design Blackwork SAL - April 2018

Other month is gone and I finished another part of the Connie Gee Design SAL. It looks really elegant the design and what I like more is that you can do each part in couple of hours.

That is how the whole design looks like at that moment.

Connie Design Backstitch SAL - March 2018

That is the third part of the Connie Gee Design SAL. I finished it in my birth place, Sevilla, Spain, while I was taking care of my mum who went through a surgery. Fortunately she is recovered now.

The project is advancing as planned and that is how it is after finishing the third part.

Connie Design Back Stitch SAL - February 2018

Just finished the second part of Connie Gee Design SAL 2018-2019. I am really enjoying this SAL as it is very easy and quick and, I need to say, I love backstitch. I have the third part ready to go and can’t wait to receive the fourth part.

I like the result of the two parts together.
