Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop 2019

As I did last year I am participating again in the Easter treasure hunt blog hop organised by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching. What you do is to hop all around the blogs that take part and see the Easter or Spring stitching they have done. Also you should collect all the letters that each blog gives to find a phrase. Once you have it you should go back to Jo's blog and leave a comment with the phrase.There is until Friday May 3rd.

I saw in April’s issue of Just Cross Stitching a embroidery tray design. Obviously I am not going to do any tray but I thought the design was nice for framing. It is a design from Anna Chinotto of La Bottega delle Meraviglie di Anna. I stitched it in Aida Rustic Oatmeal 18 count and used most of the call for threads, I substituted some of them. I framed it over a baby pink felt and I made the borders thread finged.

I love the small detail of the bow on the rabbit and the sheep, it is really cute……

I want to end this post showing a close up detail in that embroidery, the french knots. I have been trying to make them for years and only now I can only say that……. I KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!! I am extremely excited and happy, I thought I could never do them.

Blog Hop at Serendipitous Stitching

For Saint Valentine Day Jo, from Serendipitous Stitching, organises a Blog Hop on her blog. That Blog Hop consists in doing something related with love or friendship, send her the picture and after that you receive back a picture from another blogger. You must write a post showing the picture Jo sends you. Up to this point all sounds normal. The fun comes when you need to go to her post in Serendipitous Stitching and go to the participating blogs to find out who is having the picture of the embroidery you made. Once you find it you need to tell that person that you made it and the person who made yours will let me know she is the author of the one I got.

I received a cute bunny holding a red envelop, I imaging with a love letter inside.

Now I need to go through the other blogs and find out who has my picture and wait until the artist of that one tells she is the person who did. I will edit that post after I get that information.

Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop 2018

I am doing this post as part of the Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop 2018 organized by Jo from the blog Serendipitous Stitching. You can read the original post explaining the Blog Hop HERE.

Each one of the participant has allocated a letter and we need to make a post showing our letter on Good Friday 2018. Then, we need to go blog by blog in the order specified to get all the letters and make a sentence, which this year is the first line of a poem.

We also need to post each one an embroidery related with Easter or spring. This year I did few projects related with Easter but I chose one to show in this post. It is a design from the magazine CrossStitcher, the 2017 Easter issue, and is a hen to cover the boiled eggs. I did as part of the Easter decoration and it is really cute.
